Barrier from wells, and
Monk boon duration.
The gyros here are wells.
Bulwark Gyro and
Purge Gyro pulse where you drop them and stay there, so you cast them into where the squad is going, not where you are standing. That is the skill in this build: guessing the push one beat early.
Why these traits
Your cleanse runs through
Protection.
Reconstruction Enclosure grants it to nearby allies every time you use your heal skill,
Expert Examination adds it on your
Function Gyro and on
Bandage Self, and
Anticorrosion Plating cleanses conditions from every ally you hand it to — so protection is not mitigation here, it is the cleanse engine. The second engine is finishers:
Blast Zone drops a blast finisher when you press
Bandage Self,
Kinetic Accelerators turns your function gyro into a blast finisher and pays boons to allies for every combo you close, and
Chain Reactivity gives you
Barrier for each finish and a shared one every third.
Soothing Detonation heals nearby allies on any tool belt skill, and
Health Insurance raises your healing to others while you are in
Med Kit — which is where you will spend the fight.
Autodefense Bomb Dispenser is the one selfish pick: a smoke bomb when you get disabled.
Gear reasoning
Full Minstrel's with
Monk — healing power, plus boon duration that lengthens every protection you hand out, and your protection is your cleanse. Both
Transference raise healing to other allies by 10%, and
Karakosa heals nearby allies whenever you close a field with a blast finisher, which is exactly what
Blast Zone and the function gyro produce. Double Shortbow means the swap never changes your skills:
Essence of Living Shadows heals and cleanses,
Essence of Animated Sand grants
Barrier and might,
Essence of Borrowed Time stuns while giving allies
Superspeed.
Frenzy and
Life only trigger on kills, which on a build with no offensive stat is rare — those are the two slots to change first.
When not to run it
Zerg only. You have no offensive stat, no damage traitline and
Supply Crate for an elite; away from a squad there is nothing here that kills anything. Inside one, if the group already has cleanse and
Barrier covered and what it lacks is pressure, bring one of our power Engineers instead — Holosmith or Amalgam.
