Power Scrapper
A Hammer power Scrapper for the zerg push — Berserker's and Dragon's,
Scholar runes, and four kits behind the hammer.
It shares the Explosives and Firearms core with Holosmith; the elite line is where they split. Instead of a heat gauge you get
Superspeed the line hands out for free and
Applied Force, which turns might into bonus power and gives you
Stability once your might is high enough.
Why these traits
Object in Motion is what the elite line is built around: your strike damage goes up while you hold
Stability,
Swiftness or
Superspeed, and the bonus compounds with every boon on you — so the movement this build generates is also its damage.
Gyroscopic Acceleration widens your wells and makes
Shredder Gyro's first pulse hand
Superspeed to everyone near it, and
Speed of Synergy adds more every time you drop into
Med Kit.
Applied Force pays your might twice — bonus power, then
Stability at the threshold, which Object in Motion then counts again. Explosives and Firearms do the flat work:
Explosive Temper stacks ferocity off explosions,
Steel-Packed Powder and
Shaped Charge turn the vulnerability they apply into damage, and
High Caliber,
No Scope and
Heavy Metal only pay inside their range threshold, which is where a hammer already stands.
Gear reasoning
Berserker's and Dragon's under
Scholar, which is six lines of power and ferocity and nothing else. Your margin is the vitality on the Dragon's pieces and the
Barrier
Impact Savant skims off your own strike damage.
Force is flat,
Impact pays extra into stunned or knocked-down targets — that is what
Thunderclap is for — and
Bloodlust banks power off kills.
Thief stacks strike damage every time you land a weapon skill with a recharge, and with four kits on the bar you are always pressing one.
When not to run it
This is a melee hammer build with no defensive stat worth the name. If the fight is a siege standoff or a ranged trade, you are stuck lobbing shells from
Elite Mortar Kit and contributing very little. If what your squad is actually missing is cleanse and
Barrier rather than damage, take the heal build from the Scrapper hub instead. And if you can hold heat, Holosmith runs the same Explosives and Firearms core with a burst window in place of the superspeed chassis.
